El Perelló is an ELM (Local Minor entity) belonging to the Valencian municipality of Sueca, in the Ribera Baixa region. Its origin lies in the mouth of the Albufera, due to the fishing activity carried out by fishermen mostly from the neighboring district of El Palmar.
Almost 5 square km of extension, included in its entirety in the Albufera Natural Park. Although it belongs to the Ribera Baixa region, its mouth of the Albufera lake (gola), marks the natural limits between the Ribera Baixa and L’Horta Sud regions.
