The El Perelló library was founded in 1984. Until 2007 it was installed on the second floor of the building that today is the City Hall. This year, 2007, it was moved to the building that housed the old schools. Until 2011 it occupied the second floor, being moved that year to the ground floor.
The library has a Bibliographic Fund of 32,720 volumes and 1,421 members. Integrated in the Xarxa de Biblioteques Valenciana and offers: General room-Children's area-Study room-Home loan service and Interlibrary-Reading room-Internet and activities to promote reading
